Denver Black Girls Run Club, originally founded as Black Girls Run Denver in 2023 by Raja, began as a small local run club after she noticed how few Black women were visible in the running community. As the club grew and the vision expanded, it was rebranded as Denver Black Girls Run Club, which laid the foundation for the main business, Black Women Run LLC.
Black Women Run LLC was created to allow for expansion across Colorado and to implement events that positively impact and influence Black runners. Through curated race events, wellness workshops, and youth programming; we provide safe, empowering spaces for Black women, girls, and the Black community to achieve their goals, build community, and celebrate strength and resilience.
Along with our transition from a run club to curated events, with the launch of our youth run club; our mission now extends to the next generation. We hope by offering structured training, workshops, and community programs, we can inspire young runners, promote wellness, and cultivate confidence.
Black Women Run LLC continues to honor its roots while growing its reach to create inclusive, empowering spaces for women, girls, and youth to thrive through fitness, connection, and community.
Today, our focus goes beyond individual fitness. We are committed to uplifting the BIPOC community through culturally focused events, a future youth running club, and community events that promote both physical, mental well-being, and a safe space for US.
